Place Your Bets!  Santa Barbara Contemporary Arts Forum is pleased to announce Speakeasy: Lose your Prohibitions to take place on Saturday, October 21, 2006 from 7PM–11PM.  

For this ultimate, no-limit Texas-Hold-‘Em tournament, CAF will be transformed into the smoothest and most sophisticated speakeasy Santa Barbara has ever seen.  The final slinger at the table will enjoy a weekend in Las Vegas, NV with an extra $1,000 in their pocket.  But not to fear, we will have prizes for the top 20 qualifying players and feature VIP treatment for all!

The event will be limited to 150 players at a cost of $60 a seat or $50 for CAF members, with a re-buy option for those players itching to keep in the game. Craps and roulette tables keep the ante up and an original artwork by artist Robert Heckes—composed entirely of vintage playing cards—will be auctioned off to the highest bidder.  Wet your whistle on bathtub gin and other refreshments.  Don’t miss this opportunity to win big and help support arts in our community.
