CALL FOR ENTRIES is an annual juried exhibition open to all visual artists living and/or working within Santa Barbara, Ventura, and San Luis Obispo counties. This program is designed to encourage artists from the local community to present new work in relation to the alternative arts context of CAF. Three to five artists will be selected to receive an honorarium and exhibit in a group exhibition held at CAF in 2010. Applicants are selected by a panel of jurors made up of artists and art professionals currently working in the visual arts field.  This year’s panel includes: Anne Ellegood, Senior Curator, UCLA Hammer Museum, Los Angeles, CA; Michael Barton Miller, Artist and Studio Art Professor, California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, CA; Yasmine Mohseni, Curator and Writer, Los Angeles, CA; and Adrian Rivas, Co-founder, g727, Los Angeles, CA.
